Mengesha Woldegeberal
20 years of experience across oil & gas and mining with global project leadership from concept through construction. Former Western Canada Leader in Drilling and HSE, with experience at major operators including Shell, BP, and Statoil. Brings extensive execution experience across North America, Africa, and the Middle East, with a focus on delivering projects to international safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Doug Geeraert
P.ENG.,
Doug Geeraert, is an oil and gas engineering professional with 30+ years of experience in the Canadian energy industry. He has broad upstream operations experience. While with Glencoe Resources Ltd. for 20 years, Doug became Executive Vice President overseeing their oil and gas production and exploration activities, facilities & pipelines, land, joint venture agreements, acquisitions and divestitures. During that period, he was integral in building and operating joint ventures with Dow Chemicals, Nova Chemicals, MEGlobal, OMERS Energy among others and was instrumental in establishing and operating what was then Alberta’s largest CO2 capture and CO2 miscible oil recovery operations.
Nick Lenstra
P.ENG.,
50+ years of managing projects and corporations since graduating as a professional Engineer. During that time he has initiated six successful new corporations. Recently as President & CEO of Midwest Group he was responsible for the successful execution of 25 projects including approximately half of the recently completed 30 Billion dollar Trans Mountain Pipeline in Canada.
He was involved in other unique projects in Canada, USA, Russia and the Middle East including the TransAlaska Pipeline System as well as the first buried liquid sulfur pipeline to operate at 150 C. He was a former Partner at COLT Engineering with extensive experience delivering large-scale energy infrastructure. COLT was eventually sold to Worley Parsons. Nick is currently a director of Rocky Mountain Clean Fuels Inc. as well as partner in Rocksaw International.
Bijay Singh
15+ years of experience across corporate finance, business development, and strategic negotiations with public and private companies. Began his career with a leading North American financial services firm, advising on long-term capital strategies.
Extensive international experience across Africa and emerging markets, with a focus on energy and commodities. Deep expertise in government relations and high-level negotiations, supporting projects across oil & gas and mining from early-stage development through execution.
